The first GEO Membership meeting of the term will held October 12 at 7:00 pm in the Michigan League Ballroom. This is an important one. The GEO contract with the university expires in March 2011, and we’re going to finalize the platform for negotiating the new contract at this meeting. The chance to have your input included in a new contract only comes along once every three years, so come make sure your voice is heard.
All graduate students are welcome, even those who aren’t current GSIs or members of GEO. If you could be hired as a GSI or a GSRA in the next three years, you’ll be working under the contract we negotiate this year, and we want your input in its construction.
