Office Manager
Graduate Employees’ Organization (GEO), the union of graduate student instructors and graduate student staff assistants at the University of Michigan, is seeking a part-time office manager to work in Ann Arbor, MI. For more information about GEO visit geo3550.org.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping experience, including budgeting and audit preparation
- Ability to manage time and coordinate multiple projects in high-stress situations
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with database management
- Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn additional software applications as necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills
- US citizenship or other authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Other prior experience in a higher education environment
- Experience as a staff member in a volunteer-run organization
- Experience in the labor movement
