GEO-backed candidates for RSG have pledged to:

Represent graduate students in my area in regard to academic issues and other concerns

Work with representatives from other areas of the university to reach consensus on issues affecting graduate students

Work alongside my colleagues in the MSA and GEO to provide unified opposition to legislation that harms either the academic strength of U of M or worsens the quality of life of students

Encourage the university to both recognize the right of graduate students to collectively bargain and remain neutral in any such campaign

Minimize the operational costs of RSG; in particular, the cost of food at RSG meetings

Continue RSG’s long history of providing social events that bring together graduate students from all fields

Ensure that the RSG website is updated regularly with a full set of minutes
