Welcome Back GEO Members! As the smell of Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Paper fill the air, it is officially time for our first General Member Meeting (GMM) of the 2015-2016 school year. This GMM we will focus on platform development as we move towards negotiating a new contract under Right to Work. This is a great time to see what issues GEO members are concerned about and to give your input on which issues and campaigns you believe the membership should mobilize around this year. In addition, you can bring your ideas for developing the platform so that your voice and views are heard as well as hearing updates on what the GEO officers, caucuses, and committees have been doing to serve you since the last GMM. So come out and join us in kicking off bargaining as we continue the countdown to negotiating our new contract.
