As November draws nearer, the effort to protect collective bargaining rights in Michigan is gaining momentum. We at the Protect Working Families campaign (formerly known as Protect Our Jobs) had overwhelming success in our petition drive, and now we’re working hard to develop a solid base of community member support, especially among small businesses. Many small business owners know that collective bargaining improves standards of living for workers and their communities. They know that they remain in business because we spend the wages we get through collective bargaining at their businesses.
Over 70 small businesses have already pledged their support to our campaign, but to get even more small businesses involved, we need your help. What small businesses do you patronize? Do you know a small business that might support us? Download this toolkit and ask the small business owner to fill out the last two pages. Then return the last two pages to GEO HQ (330 East Liberty St., Suite 3F).
